Sign in to your dashboard at haveibeenpwned.com/Dashboard, navigate to Business > Subscription > Manage Subscription to open the Stripe customer portal:
Click the Cancel button next to your subscription.
Cancelling does not stop your subscription immediately. Instead, it will remain active until the end of your current billing period, and you’ll continue to have full access to all paid features until that date. Cancelling simply prevents the subscription from renewing automatically.
For example, if your next billing date is 29 March 2027, you can continue using your subscription until that date. Your subscription will then end and will not renew on 29 March 2027.
To avoid receiving payment failure notices, cancel before your renewal date. If a renewal invoice has already been generated before you cancel, Stripe will continue retrying payment on that invoice even after cancellation. Cancelling does not void an invoice that has already been issued.
What happens after your subscription ends
Cancelling does not delete anything. The dashboard acts as an interface rather than a traditional user account, so there is no account to remove.
When your subscription ends, your access simply reverts to the free tier. Paid features such as API access and domain search will no longer be available, but you can still sign in and view breach data for your subscription email address.
Breach notifications will continue for any domains still listed in your dashboard until you remove them.
Refunds
No refund is issued for unused subscription time, including if you cancel partway through a pre-paid period. You will continue to have access until the last day of your paid period, regardless. Refunds are only available in two specific circumstances: a material change to the service (request must be made within 30 days of the change) or if your domain exceeds its queryable size.
What if I no longer have access to the subscription email address?
If you are unable to sign in because you no longer have access to the email address used to purchase, please read this FAQ article: "The person who purchased the subscription has left, what now?
