HIBP subscriptions renew automatically at the end of their current term in accordance with the Terms of Use accepted at the time of purchase. Unless the subscription is cancelled prior to the renewal date, it will auto-renew.
If you would like the subscription to continue and there is a valid payment method on file, no further action is required. The subscription will renew automatically on the renewal date, and payment will be processed at that time.
If the payment method on file has expired, it must be updated before the renewal date to ensure the renewal completes successfully.
Do I need a renewal quote?
If a renewal quote is required for internal procurement or approval processes, one can be generated within the allowed renewal window.
- For direct purchases, renewal quotes can be generated in the dashboard.
- For reseller-managed subscriptions, the reseller can generate a quote for their specific customer in the reseller portal.
Renewal quotes are available 45 days prior to the renewal date. We are not able to provide quotes earlier than this or extend the renewal lead time.
What happens during renewal?
45 days before expiry
- A renewal quote can be requested or generated.
On or at the renewal date
- The subscription renews automatically (unless cancelled beforehand).
- Payment is processed at the same time.
- The new subscription term begins immediately.
